The Native Canadian Centre of Toronto is an Indigenous community cultural centre. The Centre welcomes the local community, including guests from across Canada and offers a variety of programs and services.

Cultural Programs: cultural teachings and traditions of First Nations people.

  • Monday: Mixed Hand Drumming, Men’s Regalia Making, Native Martial Arts

  • Tuesday: Cree Language, Inuktitut Language, FIRST TUESDAY OF each MONTH ONLY IROQUIAN DRUMMING

  • Wednesday: Beading, Cree Language, Inuktitut Language, Men’s Open Teachings, Jingle Dress Regalia Making, Women’s Regalia Making, Native Martial Arts

  • Thursday: Children’s Arts and Crafts, Adult Painting, Big Drum Beginners

  • Saturday: Children’s Dance Classes, Women’s Adult Dance Classes Mixed Hand Drumming, Men’s Regalia Making, Native Martial Arts

Adult Case Managers: assisting Indigenous adults (25-54 years) access services with holistic wellness planning, counselling, and service coordination/navigation. Emotional support, OW/ODSP Support, Educational, Social/recreational, Health and/or Addiction Supports, Housing, Personal Finance/Budgeting, Cultural Learning.

Community Health Navigator: assisting Indigenous adults (25-58 years) to access services with holistic wellness planning, health workshops, and health service navigation. One on One with Elders, Talking Circles, Health and/or Addiction Supports, Art Therapy, Finding Community, Cultural Learning, Navigating Various Health Services.

Children's Indigenous Language Led Programming: various activities offered to improve child development (ie. art, physical activity, nature talks, bedtime stories, Mohawk and Ojibway activities).

Tax Clinic: between March-April, free one-on-one help with your tax return. Call 416-964-9087 to book an appointment.

Indigenous Artisan Marketplace: unique handmade goods made by Indigenous creators.
